Recollected: Transforming Memory

The six artists in this show help us to see the powerful connection between memory and object by referencing past narratives while simultaneously creating new statements for the viewer to explore. They create a space for reflection and transformation. Their work is unified by their collective desire to draw parallels between past and present. These artists interpret, re-interpret and re-envision objects, blurring the line between inherent meaning and a new, contextualized meaning that is powerful and resonant.
